Boone Braves Course Selection (Links to an external site.)

1. Select the link below to begin your course selection.
2. Select Step-by-Step Instructions. Watch the video or scroll down to read the instructions.
3. When you are ready to begin, select your cohort, CLASS OF 2026.
4. The deadline to submit your selections is Monday, January 31st.
5. You may only submit your selections once. To make changes after submitting you need to contact your Boone counselor.

Magnet Information

• Magnet application deadline: Tuesday, February 15th

Register to take HOPE online.

1. 1. Read the Registration Instructions. (Links to an external site.)
   2. Go to FLVS.net (Links to an external site.) to register for the course through OCVS. Please choose "County Virtual School" and select OCVS. This allows your grades to automatically be part of your school record and not need to be entered later as a transfer grade from another district (FLVS).
   3. Mrs. Schneeberger will approve the course once she receives the request from OCVS.
   4. As soon as the school year ends, go into your FLVS account and change your home/physical school from Blankner to Boone. This is important so that Boone is notified when you complete your course.
   5. If you want to take the class during the summer, wait until after Spring Break to register and choose a start date in June.

Bright Futures

• High school students meeting GPA, test score and service hour requirements may qualify for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program (Links to an external site.).
• Students can start earning their service hours for Bright Futures the day AFTER their last day of 8th grade.
